Earlier on May 10 evening Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed that within hours of the ceasefire agreement by India and Pakistan on May, Pakistan repeatedly violated truce by engaging in military action. In an press briefing, he said that the Indian Army is retaliating to the border intrusion.
“For the last few hours, there have been repeated violations of the understanding arrived early in the evening between the Director Generals of Military Operations of India and Pakistan. This is a breach of understanding arrived at earlier today,” Misri said during a urgent press briefing.
