Police arrested four men after a video allegedly showed them making obscene remarks at an Israeli tourist in Kishangarh. The action followed the clip going viral on social media and a suo motu probe. The accused were identified as Mohammad Farhan, Mohammad Asim, Farhan and Akhtar Ali.
Four men have been arrested after a video allegedly showing them making obscene and objectionable remarks at an Israeli woman tourist at the Kishangarh dumping yard circulated widely on social media, police said on Tuesday.
According to Ajmer Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Agrawala, the woman had gone to the dumping yard, a tourist spot in Kishangarh, and was recording a video when some youths allegedly made obscene and objectionable comments towards her. He said the woman later posted the video on social media, after which it went viral.
Police said they took suo motu cognisance of the case after the video gained attention online. A special team was then formed, and the suspects were identified with the help of technical and intelligence inputs.
