Random earthquakes, a choking AQI, a ‘foamy’ river, a BLAST and more. For the rest of the world, it might be a list of misfortunes that may happen over time, perhaps with a gap of months or even years between them. However, for Delhi, the story is a bit different! Or so is what most Delhiites believe. The said ‘misfortune’ has reached a level that it seems ‘self-roast’ is the answer that Delhi people are coming up with- because if not that, then what are these hilarious social media posts and comments that Delhi people are sharing? Taking to the internet, a Delhi man shared how if the world ends, it’s probably only cockroaches and Delhi NCR people who will survive! “Duniya Khatam Hogi To Bas Cockroach Or Delhi-NCR Wale Bachenge,” the post read.
The joke was a clear dig over what all is happening in the national capital and its surrounding areas. From an AQI that is causing health issues among people to a deadly Red Fort blast that killed 15 people, living in Delhi has truly turned into a ‘survival game’.
As soon as the post went viral, netizens chimed in with hilarious jokes which were only funnier than the ones cracked before. From calling Delhiites ‘amar (immortal)’, to others dubbing them the ‘ultimate survivors’, it seems everyone was quick in activating their ‘funny bone’, just to ‘roast’ Delhi. Many also joked about how people are normalising repeated bomb threats that the national capital is receiving.

Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.

Check out the viral post:
“Duniya khatam hogi to bas cockroach or Delhi NCR wale bachenge. We are immune to everything,” the post read.
The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘RishabhKaushikk’. The post was shared a few days back and pulled more than 5K views from people. The post was shared on Instagram as well, with the caption reading, “Covid, earthquake, traffic, air pollution sab survive kar lete hai.”
Internet’s reactions:
“Delhites know how to survive,” a user said. “I think we can survive anywhere in the world,” added another. “We know how to survive in every situation. Be it anything honestly,” commented the next person.
“People who think pollution is building immunity. Meanwhile cancer,” added another user. “Covishield is old now, Airishield. Delhi is not for beginners, in reality,” commented the next person.
