Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh shared a video on YouTube that featured behind-the-scenes footage of his AURA tour in Australia. He also opened up on the racism he faced ahead of his Sydney concert.

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is busy with his worldwide tour for the album AURA. Ahead of his Sydney concert, he filmed and shared some behind-the-scenes footage, offering a glimpse into his shows. Unexpectedly, the video also served as a platform for Diljit to expose the racism he faced in Australia, including being insultingly referred to as a ‘cab driver’.
Diljit in his YouTube channel, shared that when he landed in Australia, the paparazzi clicked pictures of him arriving. However, when they shared the pictures, the comments were filled with racist remarks. He said, “Some agencies reported when I landed in Australia. Someone sent me the comments people were making. People said things like, the new Uber driver is here, or the new 7-11 employee has landed. I’ve seen a lot of these racist comments, but I think the world should be one and there should be no borders.”
“I don’t mind being compared to a cab or truck driver. If truck drivers cease to exist, you won’t get bread for your home. I’m not angry, and my love goes out to everyone, even the ones who say things like that about me,” the Punjabi singer added.
