A man allegedly shot his wife and teenage son following a domestic dispute in northeast Delhi. Police have registered a case and are searching for the absconding accused amid forensic investigations.

A man allegedly shot his wife and teenage son in Northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur area on Sunday following a domestic dispute. Both victims were admitted to a local hospital.
Police said the incident was reported around 1:43 pm from Moonga Nagar under Dayalpur police station limits. The 40-year-old woman had been living with her parents for the past two to three months due to a matrimonial dispute with her husband, identified as Abdul, a resident of Jahangirpuri.
On Sunday, Abdul went to the house where his wife was staying. An argument ensued, during which he allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire on his wife and son. Both sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to the hospital by family members.
A forensic team examined the crime scene and collected evidence. A case has been registered at Dayalpur police station under relevant sections.
