As the advance bookings for the film opened in Kerala, fans were seen thronging the ticket windows and pushing each other to get their hands on the tickets.
In a video shared by the makers themselves, hundreds of fans can be seen gathered outside a theatre in Thrissur, waiting for the guards to open the gates. As soon as the gates were opened, the sea of fans spilled inside and they ran towards the ticket window.

Fans were even seen pushing each other and tripping, all in a bid to get their hands on the best seats in the theatre.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie also stars Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir and Upendra, in key roles. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago, and it sent fans of Rajinikanth into a frenzy.
