Dipke alleged that police and IB personnel had surrounded the house where he was staying and were monitoring people coming and going.

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday claimed that Delhi Police and Intelligence Bureau (IB) personnel were tracking his movements and said he could be detained ahead of the proposed ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ march at Connaught Place on Friday.
Addressing a press conference in Jhandewalan late Thursday, Dipke alleged that police and IB personnel had surrounded the house where he was staying and were monitoring people coming and going.
“Delhi Police and IB personnel have surrounded the house where I am currently staying. IB personnel and Delhi Police officers are roaming around all four lanes surrounding the house,” he said.
Delhi: CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke says, “Delhi Police and IB personnel have surrounded the house where I am currently staying. IB personnel and Delhi Police officers are roaming around all four lanes surrounding the house. Whenever I go out, vehicles without number plates follow me. When I returned just now, IB and police personnel were circling the house, talking to the watchman and gathering updates. So, Delhi Police may pick me up tonight or tomorrow morning…”

“Whenever I go out, vehicles without number plates follow me,” Dipke alleged, adding that police and IB personnel had spoken to the watchman and gathered information about the house.
He claimed that Delhi Police could detain him on Thursday night or Friday morning, ahead of the planned march.
‘Ready To Go To Jail For Waving Tricolour’
Dipke said the party would go ahead with its call to wave the national flag at Central Park in Connaught Place on October 16.
“Tonight or tomorrow morning, the Delhi Police people can pick me up. If one has to go to jail for waving the Tricolour in this country, then we are ready for it,” he said.
The CJP founder also criticised the authorities for closing Central Park ahead of the proposed gathering, alleging that restrictions had been imposed to prevent the march.
He referred to an earlier protest call on October 10, claiming that transport services and internet access had been disrupted and barricades put up across Delhi.
“We had earlier given the call for a protest on 10th October. You shut down all of Delhi, shut the buses, shut the metros, shut the railways, shut down the internet, put up barricades. Now we said that on the 16th we will wave the tricolour at Connaught Place, in Central Park, so you shut Central Park,” the CJP founder said.
